DS uses a co-processor to run GBA games, PS2 uses a co-processor to run PS1 games.

Wii uses neither a co-processor or emulation for GC games. The main CPU, GPU, and audio chip are near-100% compatible. So GC games run natively on them.

Add me to the list of many waiting very patiently for a Wii PSX emulator. I enjoy playing emulated games much more on my TV through the Wii than through my small laptop.

They sell VGA to S-video/Component/DVI adapters for cheap.
