Hardware PS VITA : Dead memory cards ?

Hey I have an issue with 2 PS VITA's memory cards.
I have a PS Vita for almost a year and I was never able to use it because it couldn't read both of my memory cards, and for a year I thought it was because of my memory card reader.
But today a friend gave me his PS Vita so I can hack it, and I tried to put his memory card in my vita and it worked ! After that, I tried to insert the dead memory card on his vita and it didn't worked.

So the problem is from the memory cards :/ Is there anything I can do ?

a friend of mine ruined the card, why when he went to change the screen of the vita forgot the card inside the slot, when he turned the card was no longer recognized by the vita
