There are quite a few (I have been using one for years):

Most plug into USB (I think I saw a firewire one once) and I would look long and hard if you are running something other than windows 2000/xp as that is all drivers come for (good news is those drivers tend to be fairly solid unlike some other controllers).

Cheap and works quite well, if you can tolerate the two week shipping.

Some adapters have given people problems with their dance mats. The feedback for that adapter reads 'Couldn't get it to do two steps at once on a DDR pad. '
Since the topic creator wants to use his dance pads i would get these instead:
Super Joybox Pro 3 http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-6m-49-...0-qc2-40-1.html or for two players http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-6m-49-en-70-qc3.html.

These have been proven by enthusiasts to be lag free with many PCBs. I have the two player one and i can attest to this.

I just bought this one as well since my dog ate my PS/N64 controller adapter I had for my PC. I like this new one. It can hook up 2 controllers and it works just perfect. I have not tried it with a dance mat though since I don't have one and I don't play DDR games.

So I'm assuming from members experiences, that dealextreme is a reliable site, just don't expect whatever you order to be here in a hurry,, right?
