Hacking Protective case for XL.

Hopefully this is in the right place...


I'm looking to get a case for my DSi XL as I use it a lot. I'm looking for one that's sturdy, and doesn't rattle the XL around. A protective case I should say. One that can stay on permanent. Can someone link me to something like that, from a reliable site?

DSi LL is identical to the DSi XL. The only difference is the region.

Yeah I didn't think there was. I wasn't sure if it would be a tiny bit thinner or whatever.

Tight as shit and very sturdy. It might not look tight when you take it out of the box, but when you shove it on your DS, boy is it freaking tight and protective. Definitely adds some weight to your DS though, I wouldn't buy it for a three year old.
They have different colours too, just search "NDSILL" in the PriceAngels search bar.

I've got one of those crystal cases and they are VERY good.

Just clean and polish the xl before you put it in.

The hinge joints are good, they come apart with a little effort, yet stay together when you need them too.

I imagine the plastic might scuff and wear after a while, maybe an aluminium case is better if you can get one..

Do those protective cases help the top screen from wobbling when open? Cause I know my top screen wobbles back and forth when I open it to the mid click and the full click.

If anything, it's going to make the wobbling worse because of the added weight. With my case on, it takes less force to go from the 'laptop' hinge settings to the regular DS setting.

I'm wanting a case, not armour.

The local store has a really nice aluminum shell that makes for fine looking armour, but I want something that is a case ie you put the DS in the thing and take it out to play.

Had a nice one with the DSlite.
