I've been looking through the system's files and found system.dreg and system.ireg. They both seem to have the region code in them but I can't be sure until I can compare them to the American files. I'm pretty sure the number 3000 (Japan's region code) is being stored as 1e 00 in hex, but I need an American version of the file to compare this to. If you have an American PSP 3000, or really any PSP 3000 as I just need to know how the region code is stored, please attach the files. (You can use PSP Filer to dump flash 1 or copy the file over using the VSH menu.) I attached my version of the files. If these types of files aren't allowed to be shared then let me know and i'll delete the thread. And if there's some reason this definitely won't work, let me know. Thanks.
