Is there a program or game, fun and stuff that teaches you how to code?
A game or program. teaching you. Not the old tutorial guides in html.com or cprogramming.com :) ?

Not really. Well, I'm sure there are but how effective they are I don't know.

There's also Laby, it is VERY basic, but it gives you a small idea. All it really does is teach you ABSOLUTE VERY BASIC syntax and order. Nothing really helpful, though.

Also, this shouldn't be in here...should be in the Computer section. Requesting to be moved.

    EDIT: http://gbatemp.net/t...should-i-start/

Also, no game will EVER teach you how to code properly. Use an old school guide or don't learn at all.

You can learn logic and concepts from things like Game Maker and Scratch but there is no replacement for going out and buying a book and learning from that.

I do agree that game maker is a good foray into learning game design without having to mess with the engine yourself.
