Why do you need to brick your PSP ?

The Best way to brick it is to erase files from the flash 0, but unless you have a DCC kit you can't install anything back !

I bricked mine twice using the quick updater last night while on 5.0 m33...man was I angry

there have been people who where very happy having their psp bricked.
i remember a guy who bricked his TA-088v3 slim by taking out the battery while updating.
he sent it to sony, and got a hackable slim back.

I think that's a very risky option.
