Hacking Problems with wiiloader?

I followed EoC's instructions and have wiiloader running on my Wii. No issues at all.

I put it on my friends Wii and all was pretty much well, but he tried Resident Evil 4 and Mario Super Sluggers and all he get is a black screen and then what looks like is a memory dump. And the games work just fine on my Wii.

The only difference between our Wiis that I can think of is that I've gotten mine from launch and he got his last year. But that shouldn't be an issue right?


What could be wrong?

What kind of app is wiiloader?

Gecko OS (Modchip)/Softchip (Non-modchip)/Backup Loader Gamma (non-modchip) FTW.

i think they mean wiigator loader.

what menu version is your friend's wii running? Did you install the shop channel fix and stuff on his too or just the main steps?
