Hacking problems with usb loader gx

hello yall. i'll keep this short. years ago a friend of our parents loaded some wii games onto a flash drive for us and we played them all the time. now, i'm older and feeling nostalgic so i thought i'd try using my old wii again.
when i open usb loader gx it seems to work fine at first, but then it doesn't show any games, just basic channels. i've already used the toolbar to enable showing wii games but that doesn't do anything. i've never done anything like this and i'm going crazy trying to get this to work. anyone have any ideas?

give us a little more detail on your loaders?, usb support? , which version ? , what format do you use ??

Prefer to use an external hard drive in FAT32 and you will obtain better results compared to keys, USB keys which, they often give black screens or do not start.
