For some reason the gamecube emulators for the wii dont allow you to switch discs for games like resident evil or metal gear solid, and because of that it makes them impossible to finish. Is there a way to play the games all the way thru using images or do you need the original discs?

what emu do you use? cause these differ in solution of naming the files.
for nintendont it's:

disc one: root:/games/whatever you want/game.iso
disc#: root:/games/whatever you want/disc#.iso
i recommand nintendont since it's still active development.
in Trouble shouting is still one possible problem that might ocur found: the memcard
:blank:Swap discs

The swap request is detected and done automatically by Nintendont.
You need to use the ISO format (FST/Extracted file format doesn't work).

Place the two game iso files in the same folder and name the first ISO "game.iso" and the second one "disc2.iso".
Be sure you are displaying the known file's extension on Windows, if you name it "disc2.iso.iso" it will not work.

There are no GC emulators for Wii.
Anyway, both Nintendont and DIOS MIOS support multidisc games just fine. The first disc should be named game.iso, disc 2 disc2.iso etc, and placed in the same folder.

I think he means Nintendont, MIOS, and Devolution aren't emulators. They run the games natively. It's just the disc access and memory cards that are virtualized.

What's the point of "confirming" games you know will get released. Like Nintendo "confirming" a Zelda sequel. "We can't be sure Nintendo is working on a new Zelda game, or if a new Zelda game will ever be released, until they officially confirm it."
  • Veho @ Veho:
"There is literally no way to know if they will ever release a new Zelda game, it's wild speculation until they officially confirm it."
