Hacking problems with r4i...!

i have a problem with the grand new r4i upgrade. it has a 8gb microSD card from kingston (don't know if this is the only company dealing the SD cards...). i already tried pasting all system/moonshl files from my old r4 into the r4i... it didn't work.

please help!

download the correct loader kernel files for your R4i upgrade visit the website that's on the box/package it came in the original official R4 kernel/loader will not work!

i would stay clear of Kingston memory cards as i had to dstt cards and the kingston memory cards broke them i checked this out and kingston cards have corrupted other cards as well leaving them useless

Your R4i and R4 are not the same cart. Your R4i needs a new firmware... And you just bought yourself a fake cart again. Next time try to buy a Real Cart that will work for a long time ok noobie?

Did it come in a red box or a black one?

IF ITS THE r4I-sdhc (RED BOX) you can probably get the official firmware from here http://www.r4i-sdhc.com

2#:i don't know if it = teh red box but thanx.
3#: i don't know which site stands on teh red/black box, thus i don't know which kernal/loader files i need.
4#: i think taht teh box = black, cuz my friend have always known dis as standard color.

Proper grammar, spelling and punctuation are used for a reason. If we have no idea what you're saying, or are just annoyed by the fact that you deliberately type like an idiot, you're far less likely to get an answer to your question.

If you can't give us any information, than how do you expect us to help you? Look at the card itself. Odds are it says the web address you need right there.

Download this file http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=6577 and open the .rar or .zip file.
there should be 4 files.. R4.DAT, a R4iMenu folder, moonshl2 folder, and a moonmemo folder.. put them all into the root

Now there should be these files in you're root

R4iMenu
moonshl2
moonmemo
R4.DAT
