Hacking Problems with Preloader .27

Hey, I'm hacking my friend's wii right now.
I've used Riskiimod to do two previous wiis, both worked flawlessly.
Now I am using SoftMii .9.5, which is the continuation of Riskiimod, and when I installed preloader and chose system hacks, i get an error.
also, i installed .26, hit update, and it now says 0.25, wonder what's up?

Error 2: syntax error : missing '=' before 'EOF'
^ is the error I get when trying to go to system hacks, when I hit save settings, preloader dies.

Check the hacks.ini file. You may have gotten one that's missing a new line, I'd go to the SoftMii site and get a hacks.ini from there: SoftMii

As for PL, I'm not sure why it says 0.25 since I'm missing the lower half of the screen when I boot in PL so I can't see it.

Edit: I got it to work, needed a new line.
For some reason it enables the hack above the selected one. Whatever.
There are still a bunch of problems, but that about solves it.
I need 42.app. Anyone know where i can get it?

EDIT: you need FS Browser to view/dump the 00000042.app

what exactly are you trying to do?

install softmii tweaks
where do i dump 42.app from?

run FS browser from HBC, the go into SU, then go to "00000001", then "00000002", then "content" and you'll see "00000042.app", highlight that and press 1(i think to dump) there is a help screen to tell you the commands

Everytime I went and tried to do the softmii tweaks .dol, it would flash Mario on the screen, then code dump... so I gave up...

It's 1. The file will be copied to your SD. Save on you computer some where for the future.
Now pick one of the Dl links in BL4Z3D247 sig (I believe youre NTSC).
Place on SD root. Run SoftMii Twaeks pick .app (the one you want) when it finish and return to IT'S main menu HARD boot the Wii, then reboot.
