ROM Hack Problems with Mario Slam Basketball

Hi ive searched through the threads and can't find one about this. im using a r4 card and put mario slam basketball on it loads fine and you can use the stylus but cant use the buttons? please help

This game doesnt need the buttons.

Ive tried it again and the d pad works but buttons dont, and yes you do need them to shoot etc

What the hell are you talking about? You use the D-pad and the L button. Nothing else. Well, maybe the start button to pause the game

Follow the tutorial. If you've still got problem after doing that, we'll be glad to help you out.

No you dont need the buttons to shoot.
