Okay so I got a backup loader. And Im overjoyed.
But after pluggin it to my wii and formatting it to the format file
that the wii reads my computer does not read it....

Is it because of the change? How do I solve this?

If you've formatted it to WBFS your PC wont be able to just see the contents of the drive. If you now want to transfer some Wii games to it (from image files like .iso) via your PC, you need to download something like WBFS Manager. Once you install that software on your PC, plug your HDD into your PC, start WBFS Manager and then its pretty self explanatory how to transfer the Wii backup image to your new drive.

NOTE: If you are wanting to transfer backup discs that have already been burnt, to the WBFS drive, you need to do it via your Wii, or get a program called WBFS_intelligent_GUI, that as the ability to transfer your already burnt Wii games to a WBFS fornmatted drive, via your PC.

Good luck.

:>

I assume you mean you bought a hardrive? If you formatted it to WBFS format then no your PC cannot read that format. Download WBFS manager!

Yeah by the title you can see I meant hard drive.
Sorry for the mistake.

I was on a rush.
Anyways Ill download the program and Ill see if I have any issues.
Thank you so much.

OK I got thw WSFB manager.
Im not sure what IM doing. But from what I see, it too is not reading my formatted drive.
Please help me. Really. Do you have any tutorials or direct links that
may help me?

there is in fact a driver for windows to see a hard drive that's partitioned as WBFS but there has been good stories and bad. some people are using it like there's no tomorrow others well (and i think it's because of user error) get the BSOD every time they plug in the hard drive.

Well I dont wanna risk that. But i think i might have found out what the problem is.

Well WSFBManager says the drive cannot be in use when you try and open it.

When I try to "safely remove" my hard drive, it says its not possible because something is using it....
even when all prgrams are closed and Ive verified with task manager...

COuld this be the cause? That it ALSO thinks anoher program is using it?

In WBFS manager select the drive your HDD is using and then press load...it's as simple as that.

If you get the "error occured while loading drive. Make sure that the drive is not in use or open and that it has been formatted to WBFS format" then your drive may not be formatted as WBFS. Where did you format the drive...as in what tutorial did you use?

Open up Configurable USB Loader on your Wii then press - and select global options. Then about 5 lines down it says Partition: If it says then you have your hardrive formatted to the WBFS format.

It says WBFS1 in that category....

Btw, did you read my post about my computer believeing the drive was in use when it wasnt?
here ill repost it

That is weird...maybe try an alternative to WBFS manager like Wii backup manager.
