Hacking Problems with CFW

Hi all,

I bought a Switch from a friend and tried to install a new CFW for a few day but coudnt make it.

Checked the serial number and doesnt seems to be patched, its running 8.0.1 and 8 fuses.

Tried several versions of ReiNX and atmosphere and nothing work.

Any ideas before i kill my self for buying it xD

The serial number is XAJ40049876792.

Tried with several CFW all of them show the boot images but then only a black screen, only with one from ReiNX show the black screen with the battery icon.

When i load hekate it brings the black screen with all the option looks like this

It sounds like the SD card is exFAT. Reformat the SD card as FAT32 (highly recommended) or install exFAT support (not recommended).

When you boot stock, can the Switch read the SD card?

Yes the SD Card is on exFAT, when boot on the oficial firmware it tells me that i have to update in order to use the SD Card

You do not have a black screen you have hekate menu

You need to say what firmware version your console is on
Not cfw but the last ofw you installed from Nintendo

Then say what hekate version your using

What name and version cfw your using

how do i check OFW, if its the one on the setting is 8.0.1, if not please tell me how to checkit.

I tried hekate 5.1.1 and 4.6, both work but dont boot correctly the new CFW.

I tried several CFWs these days the last 2 were atmosphere 0.14.1 and ReiNX_2.4, im open to sugesstion about that, im completely new with this

Your problem has already been solved. Your CFW cannot boot because it's on an exFAT SD card, and the Switch doesn't have exFAT support. Either reformat the SD as FAT32 (recommended), or install exFAT support to the Switch.
