I downloaded Stella DS (atari 2600 emulator) and the homebrew pack that came with it. I also downloaded the homebrew of portal for the 2600, which was my original intention for downloading this emulator. I put all the homebrew in a folder called Atari, and put my atarids.nds file in my emulators folder. I open it, and I get a white screen. I can't soft reset, so something is up. I tried putting it on the root of my SD card and I get the same results.
hmm so what's going on

Yeah you pretty much have to have the files in directories that emulator knows. The readme that comes with it should help.

you may also have to DLDI patch it to get it to work

That (probably) doesn't matter. Rename the rom folder back to stellads and put it in the root of the memory card.
So, should I keep it called atarids.nds? That's the default name...
But yeah I'll try that rom folder thing.

Also I have a cyclo so I shouldn't have to DLDI patch.

Works fine for me, I have a handful of 2600 games left on my DS, just in case I feel like replaying something like Adventure on occassion.
