I am having a strange problem using Sakura 1.42 to load GBA games. It appears to load the games correctly but my save is always lost when I restart. The games work fine in TouchPod but I would rather not have to use it to load my games. Is there something special I need to do to get my games working in Sakura?

I'm not sure if it does or not but I will try to manually patch them and see if it works.

Sakura should save patch correctly as long as you select "Patch Load" on the gba game's settings.
Try saving on a game that uses sram natively to see if it is a battery problem or not.

When you put a new GBA game on the MicroSD, make sure you enter the menu for the game, before playing it. You don't have to do anything in the option menu, just enter it. I assume that's when the save file is created, as it won't actually SAVE your game unless you do it.

I have tried everything suggested but I just can't get any GBA rom to save using Sakura. I will try updating to the latest version of Sakura and see if it fixes the problem.
