Hacking Problems installing Rxtools

Hello guys,

New here. I'm trying to install rxtools on my N3ds by using this guide:

When I try to launch it from HBI I'm stuck on the rxtools screen with the guy on the right that looks like this:

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

It's a bug of recent versions.
Use Nov.15 build.
If Nov.15 build still causes this, wait for devs fix it on next versions.

Coming back to Oct.02 build is alternatively OK but recent builds fix more N3DS issue than that.

P.S.
Somebody has said that the black screen on touch screen is just a display failure, but the rxTools data installation still works background.

I had the EXACT same problem, this is what I needed to do.

1. Get the latest nightly. Copy all files to your SD card that goes into the 3DS.
2. In the tools folder run the file that creates the firmware.bin files. You will notice in the new nightly's it will create a folder called firm with "3" files.
3. Copy the firm folder with all 3 files into the rxtools folder, ie: rxtools/firm
4. Make sure another firmware.bin is not present if your coming from older version.
5. Also if you Official firmware is above 9 , I use 9.2, do not have the slotkey file in the root of the SD card.

Give that a try.

Damn sorry man completely missed where you stated "N3DS" =/ That setup maybe different.
