I'm just starting to get into DS homebrew. I've installed devkitARM using the build scripts and compiled the DS examples with make. The resulting .nds files work fine on R4 card, but when I try to run them on an emulator (the DeSmuME core of Retroarch) all I get is a white screen. The touchscreen cursor moves, the emulator doesn't crash and there are no error messages. Is this some kind of an incompatibility issue with the emulator or is there some step I'm missing?

EDIT: I got them to run in the standalone version of DeSmuME. Still curious what the issue with the Retroarch version might be.
