Hacking Problem with USB Loader GX Gamecube Games

Ok so the problem I'm having and can't find a solution to is that in USB Loader, whether I use the wad or just enter the app through the homebrew launcher, I can't see the start and settings buttons when attempting to launch a game. They are still functional, but the icons just aren't there. I have no themes installed and am updated to the latest version of USB Loader.

Oh also, this is all on the Wii U's vWii, and the wad file I installed is the proper "vWii (Fix)" version.

Any suggestions?
