ROM Hack problem with tales of innocence with patch

I have a problem with the tales of innocence ROM. I am using a dstt card and a clean rom that I patched with AbsoluteZeros translation patch, and whenever I try to to play the game it freezes at the opening. I know I can get past this if I hold the a button but does this mean that all animated cut-scenes further in the game will cause the game to freeze? Also is there any way to fix the problem cause I sort of wanted to see the cut-scene.

Did you try re-patching or re-downloading your rom? It could be an error in patching or a bad download. I skimmed the compatibility thread on the Absolute Zero forums, and your error does not seem to be listed there. You might want to take a more thorough perusal, though.

Or Reformat your SD Card when you repatch the rom before you put it on your SD card

okay, ill try to reformat the sd card
i dont feel like its a patching error but ill try that as well

you guys were right, it was either the rom or the sd card, did both and it started to work
