I am trying to create my own R4 firmware using the guide (http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=97615) instead of R4YSauto, but whenever I do it I get an message saying write reload bins or make index tab, depending on the game, then it locks up!
The only thing I have done differerent to the guide is put r4tf.dldi in the folder before running ttextract.exe!
Somebody please help me figure this out!
I am using the newest version - YSMenu0901010000.zip!

(Also by help I mean explain what I am doing wrong, not say USE R4YSauto!)

Thanks!
xxx

I don't know how, but I did it!
All I did is do everything manually instead of making a batch file like in the original guide, weird!

Some other little questions!
Do I need to patch homebrew with the old R4 (chishm's) dldi file?
Can I disable the auto-patching and just patch manually?

If you have a Chinese slimline DVD drive, the usual black rectangular shell, you can swap that out for another drive if it used the same small SATA connector.
