So yeah, managed to download g generation portable only to have it freeze at different parts(loading a file or entering a mission), help anyone?

Try with a ISO by converting it with UMDgen, if it still doesn't work try changing your drivers. Then after that if it doesn't work you could always try formatting your memory stick

something i didn't post earlier: cso made with daxter creator, also changing drivers?, do you mean accessing the vsh?, as for formatting...ehh..it's a bit complicated considering i'm using a cr5400 adapter

Or possibly updating CFW, dont know why that wasnt the first thing suggested. I suggest updating to M33-6 (Just use the network update if you have wireless internet).

so yeah, posting here another freeze problem, this time with macross ace frontier, right after beating bodolzer(the huge green guy with red tentacles), i'm starting to think the adapter is busted.

What adapter? Also, I'm going to have to say again, I suggest upgrading to 5.00 M33-6 at minimum. With 5.00M33-6 those problems are almost guaranteed not to happen, unless of course its an issue with the CSO itself.

er...the CR-4500 it's a micro sd to memory stick adapter, so, could you elaborate on that?

Well, upgraded to M33-6 and copied again the same cso, so far it's good.
and so started getting reading errors, jesus christ this adapter sucks, and afaik, can't cut it open or else it won't work anymore.
