I've lost my previous progress on pokemon by a dumb mistake of mine and it's lost so, i decided to create a edited save with "PKMDS for web" so i just added my previous pokemons and some objects i had, but now the file type is '.sav', when i try to load this new save on my 3ds with checkpoint, it works but once on game it tells me the data are corrupted, i have no clue if it's cause of the .sav or not sicne the previous saves i had were as 'file' type, do i have to change the save name to main (like previous save) or to find a way for the '.sav' to be in 'file' ?
Or do i have to decrypt the .sav?
/gen confused
Thank for any help

There are many different Pokmon games. For which game are you creating a save file?
Oh sorry forgot to mention it, it's for pokemon ultra sun!

So, I downloaded the save file from https://gbatemp.net/threads/my-pokemon-ultrasun-1000-savegame-main.499468/ , which is named "main", and I loaded it up in https://pkmds.app/ . When I click "Export Save File", it still prompts me to save it as "main". What exactly are you doing?

Definitely, if it isn't decrypted, it should be the reason it is showing up as corrupt.
There's no reason this web-based tool should be outputting encrypted data, though.

Never heard of this tool.. needless to say, if you're editing pokemon saves you should really use PKHeX (on pc), or PKSM (on 3ds).
I agree, if you have the option to use PKHeX, you absolutely should. However, as the creator of PKMDS for Web, I can tell you it is a mostly stable alternative if you cannot.

It doesn't! I'm not exactly sure what happened here.
