I have this Wii RVL-001 (USA) bricked, i don't no how it bricked because is a friends wii. Well, it have priiloader installed so i boot in priiloader and then boot into homebrew channel, then i used wiimodlite to reinstall the system menu for USA console (RVL-WiiSystemmenu-v513-USA).

Now i only have a black screen and priiloader doesn't boot, i'm i screwed?

Another one of these?
$&*&

Extract the BootMii files to SD and see if you have BootMii in boot2
https://static.hackmii.com/bootmii_sd_files.zip

I don't think SaveMiiFrii will do anything here - you can try it. My guess is that no software method can salvage that console if BootMii isn't available
===============

Always reinstall Priiloader directly after installing a System Menu. For most Wii consoles (those that cannot have BootMii in boot2), Priiloader is the only thing that can be used for brick repair.

had you used yawmm instead of wiimodlite this wouldn't have happened, this would have been blocked by its extra brick protection. Oh and had you used modmii you would have been safe too.

priiloader wouldn't have saved him if he was missing the system menu IOS for the new SM he just installed, priiloader requires that to operate also, but yeah other than that I 100% agree with you on everything else, good advice

ok @XFlak and @KleinesSinchen thanks for the scold replies.

I tried BootMii and nothing, it doesn't have BootMii on boot2, so, totally dead wii?.

I don't know why after reinstalling sysmenu doesn't work, i made this on others wii and everything worked perfect.

If the wii was a different region it would cause brick (that includes if the wii was region changed to a different region than what u were installing).

If the wii was missing the system menu IOS (most likely scenario in your case), then the system menu has nothing to load itself with, and u caused u to brick. When installing new system menus you should always make sure u are installing the required system menu IOS already or at least in the same queue. And if course immediately reinstall priiloader

Lastly, and this is unlikely, u had the Korean key in your seeprom, running 4.2 or 4.3 with a stock ios80, although this causes 003 bricks so they're usually pretty easy to identify.
