Hi there
I've a second hand wii that was previously hacked. I don't know what method was used.
It runs successfully usbloader gx and can run wii games from a usb hard drive. The problem is when I try to run gamecube games with nintendont. I get a "failed to load IOS58" error. I've searched for this and found that the solution for this is to upgrade IOS58. I tryed to upgrade with "IOS58 installer" but it fails after downloading the file from Nintendo servers.
The output of syscheck shows that almost all IOS has been patched and with a high revision number
I'm afraid that "ios58 installer" fails because it think that the already installed ios58 is "newer" than downloaded one. (65535>6175)
It seems to me (but can't tell for sure) that the wii was "processed" with "pimp my wii" or some tool like that.
Any recomendation to force installing IOS 58 from Nintendo servers?
Should I try to "restore" all the (unnecesarely) patched IOS?
Thank you and regards.
