Hardware Problem boot

Hi all I have a problem with a Nintendo 3Ds, turning it on, the blue LED will light after a few seconds makes me flash on and off in the 2 screens making a sound like "trik".

Turning and leaving the lid ajar the 3ds starts without problems.
Just is opened completely turns off as described above.


I wanted to know if it has happened to someone and if solved, thank you in advance for your answers.

So when you start the 3ds with the lid completely open, the screens blink on and off. And when they are partially open, they operate okay?

Am I understanding you correctly? If yes, I think it is a bad ribbon cord to the screen.

If you're lucky you can solve the problem simply by removing and then reinserting the upper screen ribbon cable. Sometimes the cable just comes loose without there being any actual damage. If you're unlucky the ribbon cable itself may be damaged and you may need to replace the entire upper LCD.
