Why does the download page of Priiloader only contain rev30 and nothing later? The same goes for its page on wiibrew.

Because the older version is a beta

cause thats the last public release from me. the SVN commits are NOT PUBLIC RELEASES. and SVN builds are NOT supported by me. i do like that ppl compile the source (its open source, what else do you do with source apart from editing it? but i need more ppl who would like to edit the source

) but not the fact they think its some public release

Daco,

I am with you and please ignore those flamings from uneducated (at least not well educated) people.

If you remember me, I am solar and greatjob who bugged you for fixes. :-)

I guess you shouldn't add the wiki to advice ppl build the code by themselves, if they don't know how to build it, they'd better not to test the source code until the binary got public released. And for those who can build the source, they do it at their own risk and they should not release it to public, That could cause a lot less complains about bugs and noobish questions.

Anyway, for the feature of holding/pressing a button to go to SM, is that possible to make it a time period (like 30 sec) before trying to go to SM from priiloader? If user doesn't press any key on controller or what ever, it will count down to 0 and boot SM. You can define the detail, and make the it configurable (turn [on]/off in settings)

Just my .02

BTW, I love rev46, it works flawlessly, and I am guessing 0.3 should come very soon.

Happy new year.

Thank Kyno and Daco for pointing it out

I've now got rev46 installed and it works like a charm.

With previous revs I had a problem where on boot Priiloader would start even though autoboot was set to Installed File (which is a forwarder to USB Loader GX). It seems rev46 fixes this.

BTW; Daco, I'm willing to do testing for you as long as there is no risk in bricking of course

@Daco,

I saved these two files on my laptop and I'll test them tonight (I was away for few days, just got back) but I did not save what to do\ observe during this test and you erased that info. Could you re-post it, please. TY

hmm, I'm horrible at compiling (never seems to work for me even if i follow the steps). I don' suppose you have a link to a compiled rev46? only reason i stopped using priiloader was due to the fact it would randomly boot to it without even holding reset.

If that rev fixes it, I'll be happy to switch to it.

EDIT : scratch that, found it.

I've asked this before but:

Any idea why the later revisions (R45, R46) take longer (about 1 second) to get to my Installed dol (Crazy Intro) than earlier ones (like 0.1)?

daco knows better, but i would GUESS it has something to do with checking the bootstate... i think this check was implemented in order to have the magicword.dol work (by work i mean the dol is capable of launching priiloader without holding reset)

if i'm wrong i'm sure daco will jump in with a better answer soontimes
wrong guess

Thanks, Daco. I have to go back to work so is no way I can test it tonight but I'll ASAP.

Whats up guys, priiloder f'n rocks, but recently my sd slot took a crap, so I was wondering, if in the future will it be possible to load hacks.ini off of usb, and install a .dol from the usb?

xflak40 said:
it was already done in v0.2, if there is no sd card inserted, priiloader will scan the usb ext hard drive for hacks and dols

hmm..that's odd because I had v0.2 installed and it never mounted my USB HDD, I'll install again and check it out. thanks for the input

EDIT: what a retard I am lol it works
