Hacking Priiloader 0.5 - block updates

Hi there.

I have priiloader 0.6 configure to block disc and online updates, but the other day I went online within the Wii and I still got a prompt if I wanted to carry out a system update...

I currently have system menu 4.2E, so I'm proposed to upgrade to 4.3.

The prompt will always appear, but will not allow it to be carried out even if you say yes? Or the prompt should not even appear?

I just wanted to understand how priiloader is supposed to work and if my updates are really blocked or not.

the prompts will appear, that cant go away unless you update the shopping channel with modmii.
if you still get game prompts, priiloader blocks the updates automatically, as long as you have block disc updates and block online updates enabled in priiloader.

you will get the prompt but an attempt will cause and error code

Nice to know. I think I will never try, but it's nice to know that you're safe anyway.

Same for NET update, you can try, and it will attempt update, but fail, and throw an error message.
