The price won't be raised anymore. The only reason it was raised now on multiple sites is because they started selling it at a lowered price, to attract more people into buying it.

The SCDSTwo is an expensive flashcart to produce.
The low prices you're seeing are just retailers trying to ignite sales, so they can later increase the price to an appropriate, profit earning value and maintain sales.

Shoptemp happened to be the cheapest earliest, but also became the most expensive when every other retailer began selling them. That may balance out soon.

It may be expensive to produce yet it is cheaper than the CycloDS and supposedly has better in game menu and RTS compatability in addition to the GBA emu. Hopefully it won't have any issues with dsx86 (the R4 and CycloDS had some issues with Moraff's World not working if you had too much stuff on your SD card or put 4dos in \data\dsx86\4dos instead of \4dos).
