Homebrew Previously working 3DS now stuck in GM9

My sons previously working 3DS now stuck in GM9
Everytime i turn it on it loads straight into GM9, I can use the menus etc in there but cant boot into the main 3DS screen where all the games are.

It was jailbroken a couple of years ago using this guide from 3ds hacks

and has been working fine until now
Im not sure if my son clicked on a Nintendo update prompt or not.

It's quite possible that at least one of the console buttons was stucked (perharps the START button?).

Please delete for now the GodMode9.firm file (on "luma/payloads" path) from your SD and turn on your console again. Or rename it temporally, changing the file extension for another (i.e. as .bin), if you will

If HOME Menu is prompted, then better install and use either 3DS-Test or 3DSident homebrews to check if any button is pressed/stucked indeed
