Prepaid Visa at Walmart?

I have some Visa prepaid gift cards and I was wondering if you could use them in a store (particularly Walmart). I know you can use them online but I have never tried to use them in a store, so can you?

Yes you can use them there.
And yes I have before several times in the past.
Anywhere that accepts Visa can use pre-paid visa cards.

so long as the card doesn't bear the words "electronic use only" you should be fine using it anywhere.
Look on the back, in the fine print.

Can also be on the front of the card (at the bottom below the expiration date).

The one that's sold at my local Safeway (myTreat pre-paid Visa) has "electronic use only".
