thanks.

just tried to load starfall,it doesn'twork any more after i've installed preloader, i've got "failed:-101"
what's this?

I'd be interested to know if the Force Disc Region hacks work on a vanilla 3.2E... I've only tried it on an ARC'd setup.
Might do this myself later. Can't be arsed right now though

Starfall doesn't work really nice with PreLoader.
But you don't have to use it.

I think that Preloader moves the system menu dol and starfall is unable to find it anymore.

No need for starfall anymore. Preloader allwos you to enable the same hacks (and more).

EDIT: I really got beat on this one...LOL

QUOTE(fishears @ Jan 27 2009, 11:16 AM) Anyone else got this problem?:
PAL Wii with Preloader .26 and RiiskiMod.
When I enable the Force Disc Region Hack in Preloader my Twilight Princess PAL goes black screen after I click Start....
I disabled that hack and now it works again...

EDIT: just saw your post Tanas - sounds like we found the same problem here

The Force Disc Region options appear to be next to useless.

Possibly it counteracts with the ARC region install.
Did you use Riiski too tanas ?
Installing it fresh might be worth testing.

Ok mate I'll give it a try.

FRanatic, I've just done a fresh Riiskii install and I'm still getting the same results, I also get the same results when using a chip.

Did you revert to a fresh systemmenu ?

thank you all.

i know that preloader have same functions as starfall....but i just wanted to disable what i've installed with.

so, does it matter if i select the same things on preloader?

edit: no i don t reverted to a fresh syst menu.....don't know how......so i'm so noob...
wii hack has some good and complicated improvements!

i just have to downgrade and upgrade to 3.2 to have fresh syst menu right?

Use ARC to install the sytemmenu of your region or use wadmanager and write the systemmenu.wad for your region. You can find this wad on the semi-brick fix disc over at hackmii.com

@FRanatic, I downgraded to 3.0e and then updated to 3.2e using a disk update.

Right, that should be a fresh install.
Did you also skip the ARC part when installing Riiski ?
That part seemed to screw things up.

You need to learn a bit of power pc assembly at least to create hacks... but most useful ones are already created...
By the way, any ideas for new hacks?
Possibly a tough one:

Blocking official updates from wifi.

When you're on Wifi, block it in your Router.

If you block it in your router then you won't be able to use applications that downloads stuff from nintendo's servers... there are a lot of such applications...

Yeah i skipped the ARC, but I also tried my chip using a fresh install and still none of the Disc Region Hacks worked properly.

But, is it feasible ?
To block them through a preloader hack ?
