So I have a New 3DS Animal Crossing bundle that came with Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer Pre-installed. I'd love to give frogminer a whirl to mod the system, and I need to install steel diver from the eshop for this.

Now, when I try to do that, it asks me to create and link an NNID to the system. I am worried that doing so would also link the AC:HHD title to that NNID so if I were to decide to sell the unit at a later stage, the game would no longer be part of the bundle.

So I guess my question is: at which point do Pre-installed titles get linked to the NNID?

thats exactly what will happen . . . my advice is to get a ntrboot flashcard and mod it that way

thanks for the reply, I was fearing that was the case. I do already have an NTRBoot card and 3 modded systems, the whole process was really more to get to know the froghax method. In which case, i'll just leave the N3DS unmodded (for now).

if its just for the experience you could always remove cfw from one of your 3 other (modded) systems and then frogminer that
