I’ve been writing about this in this thread since the second alpha build....

USB (hidden or unhidden) DOES work ...HOWEVER, it seems you’ll get A LOT more constant freezing times mostly in games with higher demand of compatibility, rendering SD types more adequately suitable for running games.

This is incredible, it never crossed my mind that someone could make the Wii U emulate something beyond the PS1 / Nintendo 64, I congratulate those who did it

Can I dream of a 3DS emulator for the Wii U? I think I'm already going too far xD

PS: Sorry for my english, brazilian here.

You can dream whatever you want...I usually dream of .....some stuff.....but you know, "better" to "live" in the "real" "world".

A real answer: something about PPC and ARM....something about no....some other stuff.

On Switch, maybe, but even then.

Probably 3-4 years, unless Ninty makes Super 3DSboiii with clip-on attachment for Switch portable......even though we all know we'd take 3DS without the 3-D if we could have it on Switch.....but 3DS has to "die"-die first.

I figured it would be impossible

Anyway I am very happy to be able to play PSP on Wii U, it is good to see that there are people doing these emulators and homebrew for the console

My PC is very bad and does not run well the PSP emulator (and I do not have money to buy a PSP itself) so this emulator turned out to be very useful for me xD

Time to acquire some RPGs on PPSSPP. I soooooo recommend Breath of Fire III--I tested remote Disk Streaming with a netbook (1GB ram, very bad in terms of "power", etc,.) still got the the job done.

Maybe buy some ram or a different motherboard/processor/whatever for future endeavors....Luckily, yeah, you have Wii U.

Did any "Tales of" Game Series work?

I plan to test & report these:
Brave Story New Traveler
Crimson Gem Saga
Disgaea - Afternoon of Darkness
Final Fantasy 1
Harvest Moon - Boy & Girl
Hexyz Force
Jeanne d'Arc
Monster Kingdom - Jewel Summoner
Shin Megami Tensei - Persona 3 Portable
Spectral Souls
Tales of Eternia
Tales of The World - Radiant Mythology
Valkyrie Profile - Lenneth
Ys - The Ark Of Napishtim

I mean the screen size I want the screen area on gamepad being the same size of a psp screen
Go to Settings/Performance/Rendering Resolution and choose "Auto(1:1)" and make sure "Stretch to Display" is not marked under Settings/Features.
I'm not sure if it will display correctly like you wanted but that should give you PSP Native Ratio 480x272 pixels.
However, I'm almost certain it will hinder performance on many games, as "1x PSP" is default and the better performance running resolution atm.

Tried out Persona 3:
Firmware: 5.5.2
SD type and Class: SDXC Class 10
Homebrew launcher version: 1.4
Emulator version: Latest Build
Game: Persona 3 Portable
Non default settings: No frameskip
Issues observed: Frame rate seems fine with slight stutters when scenes changes or a battle starts. Some small graphical glitches (weird outlines or something isn't visible)
Console seems to freeze when a ally attacks (first shadow fight after entering the labyrinth)
Tried it several times but it always crashes at the same place.

Yeah, the game randomly "freezes" for a full minute and the only way to fix it is to keep pressing home button til the menu loads, then go back to game and it runs fine as if it never froze in the first place. I think the emulator memory leaks everytime that happens.
