Thanks for the sample. (i love tennis, Berrettini fans).

The stream is a complex one. i have to check if is a cpu limit or a library issue.
I'll check

Full HD 4:2:2 requires a graphics card with H264 hardware decoding, to free up the CPU that has to deal with 4:2:0 software transcoding.
I use LAV filter on VLC and MPC-HC Player on my linux PC: Github LAV Filters

Is a cpu limit sorry. 1080p 4:2:0 are ok but is the best switch can do with ffmpeg.
maybe with access to hw decoder.... but i dn't know if is possible.

@docgold
i should have fixed the regex for your decoder, now it will print the channels list.

can you send me the result of /web/epgnow?bRef=1:7:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0 (for epg integration)
so i can make a more consistent build.
thanks

https://github.com/proconsule/pplay/releases/tag/v3.5-fork-v4

Changelog:
  • Readded sort for dir/files order
  • Added Enigma2 EPG
  • Added a fix for some decoders not showing channels
@docgold check with your decoder if now channels are shown! (i hope so)
Enjoy and give a like if this fork is good for you!
@proconsule54 We found performance issue in your fork, comparing to Pplay3.5

Our kids use the Switch in power saving mode (612/76/665) for better battery life.
Pplay3.5 can play 720p stream without problem in power saving mode, but your fork lags in same stream, it suffers from performance issue.

The FTP is fast, the dir/files order is good now, but the decoder performance is worse than original Pplay3.5.

I never checked that scenario. Good to know it. I’ll check if there is some others ffmpeg issue(since it is the decoding parts) to see if sonething is wrong. pplay 3.5 uses ffmpeg 4.3 (i suppose) maybe in 4.4 something get wrong.
Thanks for reporting it

@proconsule54 nice work! You also have the chance of a lifetime to finally add a good icon to this homebrew :D

I don't know if others experience this but pplay often crashes on exit, not sure if this is something that could be improved.

I have mitigated the crash on exit. Not 100% but nearly done.
The problem seems like in decostructor routine, the original author (he is so skilled! made a fantastic code design in my opinion) dont deallocate all classes.
I have to find out the correct sequence and thie problem will go.
