Thats a strange occurance, was it officially released or something?Hey guys. Latiasite is back on x/y powersaves. Get it while you can
I could really use some sort of max coin code for Mario Golf. I dont like having to grind for the goods (and yes I did request it.) They have a save to start out with max money but I want to keep my own save.
So far, I haven't heard of any weird upticks in cart bricks since the release this morning. Datel seems to have gotten more careful when it comes to their rollouts, but I will say that it did cross my mind and doesn't mean that it can't happen.I would be careful of that stone code u might never kno what could happen and they only added Latiasite and not both also it could be a part of the upcoming for the movie who knows.
It was never dangerous to begin with. I wanna know why they put it back up, its an unreleased item which they are against doing.AFAIK the Latiasite code is safe, I tested it and it works fine
Yes, I agree. The unexpected return of the Latiasite has really re-sparked the thought about the other unreleased/removed content returning to Powersaves. They never really said officially that they were against anything. The only reason that was started was somebody simply claimed they worked with Datel and this was their reasoning (I can't remember who, but let's face it that we had several people who showed up claiming to be code testers for Datel on the last thread who disappeared when their predictions didn't come true). We have never seen anything official as to any of their motivations. It has been only conjecture.
Conjecture that has built up intrigue and no doubt drove up sales for the inevitable return of the elusive removed content. Now that the hype has been dying down somewhat, we see the return of one of those items which has started to spur the interest of those without the device again. If you ask me, whatever the motivation, it has been wielded into the perfect, constantly renewing, marketing vehicle.
My feeling is that we will see the most wanted edits begin rolling out very slowly to keep renewing hype about the device (I'm sorry if I offended anybody who is tired about it all being about Pokemon but you have to admit that is a big reason why many buy the device.)
Its heavily implied that they are against it when the codes relating to unreleased exclusives were taken down almost immediately. Had it been ALL THE CODES and not just those selective codes then you may have a point in your argument but so far your invalid. Official or not its apparent they don't want users to have content that isn't released yet, readding Latiasite is quite a contradiction that I will never understand. They never really said officially that they were against anything. Everybody has the right to their own opinion, and I still stand by mine. With all due respect though, you saying that my argument being invalid is like a 500 pound man telling a 400 pound woman that she needs to go on a diet while he is eating a Big Mac. It could be said that your argument that Datel wants to prevent users from having unreleased content is invalid since they added back latiasite. Its heavily implied that they are against it when the codes relating to unreleased exclusives were taken down almost immediately. He did say that, but it was in relation to IV modification though. I'm not necessarily doubting Bond679 on that either. I'm just saying that not posting an IV modifier due to not wanting to ruin online competition is a bit of stretch to explain the removed/unreleased content. They could release the unreleased pokemon or items which could be blocked from any official competition and could be blocked on things like Battle Spot if they chose to do so.Bond679 did say he heard from the horses mouth that they don't want to affect online play.

Are you still talking of Nintendo? The same nintendo that does not support any third party devices in any way? That does not support cheats, in any way whatsoever?the same company that is starting to roll bans in order to counter cheating players as well? The same nintendo that does not adhere to any of others companipy views but to their own? U may adhere to you opinion, but damn, I find THAT hard to believe by a long shot!Everybody has the right to their own opinion, and I still stand by mine. You can also make an argument that codes were taken down due to stability issues that we were not aware of since they were taken down at the same time as the first Garchomp code during the height of the cart bricking fiasco that you were a victim of unfortunately. There were one or two people at least who popped into the old thread saying that they bricked after applying the Diancie edit; however, these people were largely ignored (even by myself) as being antihackers spreading rumors. It wasn't until staunch Powersaves advocates began bricking did we all pay attention. Now we also know that the initial opinion of the bricks being only related to user only factors were not accurate since it was proven that an error during Datel's rewriting process were causing bricks.
For all we know, Datel could be colluding with Nintendo. Nintendo could be giving Datel information that they are using to improve their product in exchange for Datel's cooperation with code rollouts. Latiasite did roll out the same week that the gen 3 remakes were announced after all. The whole argument that Datel couldn't stand up to Nintendo in a lawsuit completely ignores the fact that Datel has taken on Microsoft and Sony in the past (some settled suits settled out of court, Datel pulled one PSP product, and the Microsoft suit is still pending.) Nintendo could have easily have taken the attitude of if you can't beat them, join them. Dangle the carrot of revealing secrets of the machine or games to make their life easier in exchange for their cooperation in clearing potential content releases through Nintendo first.
In the end neither one of us can ever truly prove our arguments as being true. I do respect your opinion though; however, I still stand by mine.

Datel's logic? Perhaps, the fact that you threw nintendo in this and in his way of thinking, makes it less plausible. I do not know ANY video game company that would support cheating in order to gain advantage over the other player, in any way. It would be bad customer support. Hence why, banning systems exists.I'm not saying that is the truth either. I said that it was a possibility. I stated what is my real opinion in my first post which RemixDelux said was not valid at all. I'm just simply stating that given the facts that we currently know, you can generate a whole host of different scenarios to explain Datel's logic.

While hacking systems is definitely inevitable, I do not see ninty supporting it. Hence why so many security checks have been implemented in the 3DS
