I got a TP-Link AV1200 Gigabit Powerline Starter Kit today. The model number is TL-PA8010 KIT. When I plug it into my laptop, it says Unidentified Network and Internet Access. I can't access any webpage besides Youtube and the Microsoft website. When plugged into my sister's laptop, it is recognized and has internet access. She can access Twitter and GBATemp. Why isn't this working on my computer? Could it be antivirus?
The problem is solved! When I modded my PS2, I set it up so I could connect to an ethernet cable in the PS2 and copy games to the hard drive inside. In setting it up, I had to change settings to use a specific IP and DNS. I set this up on my computer and nobody else's. That's why the TP-Link worked on my sister's laptop.
