I have an original Xbox sitting around that an ex gf got at a garage sale. I'm in the process of trying to get it to work. Now I have the cable to hook it up to the TV but no power cord. I am curious if the system requires a special cord with the bulky brick component, or just a regular cord akin to the ps2, or a regular cord with another special piece on it.

The PSU is built in the old Xbox.

That looks like a standard double round two-prong plug. You can get them on Amazon for $5 if your spare is busted.

I have a spare for the spare. Haha I'm a wire hoarder. It's a sin I know but you just never know when that cord will come in handy.
