Any chance we can get a 9.1.0-20J version? A number of users ended up downgrading to that.
Actually, I was one of those people. non-XL N3DS J, downgraded from 10.3 using a 9.2J full pack (and also did 9.0J full)

It resulted in a 9.1.0-20J, and I used tux's sysupdater.

It's just a 1 title difference, home menu (aside from cver -- not important). For all intents and purposes, 9.2.0-20J is good enough as a reference.

@moghedien

Is it possible to add a Pause after pressing A, to have more time to see the result,
and also a count of the titles would be nice too (say, Total, then Number of those not matching) if it's not too much work

Thanx again

Sooo, basically I'm confused :(

I have a freshly downloaded N3DSXL in 9.2, still haven't begun installing a CFW and all.

Do I need to do this or only if I have errors? Is there a risk to leaving such files?

1- Run moghedien's app. You will see how many titles have not been downgraded. Hopefully, it will only be 4.
You will also have an extra title that does not belong (it was added after 9.2, but should not present a problem since it will never be accessed).

2- The choice is yours. Personally, I was scared too but in the end logic prevailed and gave me the courage to do it.

Good luck

So I don't need to redowngrade?

Any tutorial somewhere on the thread? Just an indication to where to find it (somewhat scared here)

Whoever gave you the japanese checklists gave you dirty lists, with downgraded DS Card white lists and downgraded MSETs. Possibly other version mismatches, those are the ones i've noticed with a quick glance. Their versions won't match up to a factory one, or a properly downgraded one either.

Sorry, @zoogie gave me the 9.2.0-20J, and I made 9.1.0-20J and 9.0.0-20J from that. I'll remove them.

Those titles are no big deal to system stability. The n3ds I used is a healthy n3ds that's never been upgraded or downgraded with sysupdater so it's still a decent baseline to compare against.
Still, the idea of using user systems to generate these title lists is a bad one and I'm working on a solution.

I made a new build without the Japanese titles list for now. I also added a "press (a) to continue" so you have more time to view the output instead of having to get the log file.

I don't understand. I have successfully downgraded around 20 n3DS without any problems at all, using the Sysupdater attached in the downgrade tutorial: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-downgrade-3ds-with-sysupdater.407924/

They all downgrade to 9.2 without any kind of trouble. The hard part is getting them to actually downgrade though, since the Sysupdater sometimes displays the random "Failed to get CIA file info" error, or it just freezes before starting. FTPbrony helps a lot with this too, and sometimes just formatting the n3DS before downgrading gets the trick done. So I really don't know where all these "random errors" are coming from :/

The N3DS 9.2.0-20U update pack is missing a few files so those few titles don't get downgraded. That may or may not cause problems but it's probably best to have all the correct title versions installed.

The OP of the thread on that iso site reuploaded. Is there a chance that using the corrected pack will allow me to actually downgrade? I'm one of those people experiencing the softbrick problem.

He did it w/o explaining and he forgot two more files. There should be 106 in the 9.2.0-20U_n3DS pack.

Does this mean I'm okay?

Code:
Title ID 0x000400300000b902
  Extra title

  Expected version 0x1002
  Installed version 0x1402

Your GPIO, DSP, region db, and dummy.txt module are not downgraded but that's the fault of the downgrade pack missing those titles. This should be addressed. hope @pakrett notices. (the missing titles should be in the o3ds packs)

For now, this is as good as a new 3ds downgrade can get.
Those mismatched versions will likely be on every n3ds downgrade.

I've just redownloaded the downgrade pack for my console, this seemed to have more cia's in it , so I downgraded as it was using that and it installed 2 cia files. This is the output now

Code:
Title ID 0x000400300000b902
  Extra title
Title ID 0x0004013000001b02
