I looked deep in this thread and never saw a motto topic, so post your motto!

Here's mine; "Powered By Brass"

To explain this one, I play 3 different brass instruments as a high school band kid, so there you go.

Although a friend of mine thought of bullets when he read it.

I assume given the location of the topic that you mean our avatar mottos. In which case mine is 'Soil is my power' because it confuses the fuck out of the kid across the road. Cookie if you get it.

If you mean general mottos, mine is 'Sola Nobilitat Virtus', Latin for 'Virtue alone ennobles'. Or in layman's terms, judge people by their virtues, their actions and personality, nothing else. I try not to judge anyone based on race, colour, religion, etc. If I call you an arse hole, it has nothing to do with your skin tone. It's because you're being an arse hole. Best way to look at the world if you ask me since black, white, chinese or martian, it makes no difference. We're all either nice or arse holes. Skin colour or any other factor makes no difference to this simple truth. Only what resides deep in your soul makes you what you are.

Since you don't need an XBox to have a motto, this seems more appropriate in general off-topic chat.

Mine has always been an old quote from Davy Crockett.

"First make sure you're right - Then go ahead."

@Nebz: Shouldn't that be "Thank You Biased God"?

"the time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time"

and

"shoot for the moon; if you fail you can still land among the stars"

I have a few...

Since I'm an imperialist: "Your base are belong to us"

Since I'm an American: "E Pluribus Unum"

Since I'm awesome: "Fuck you"

------------------------------------------------------

Yeah.

I guess my motto would be, "Building a better tomorrow, tomorrow"
