Have you tried copying the example flipnotes to the system memory? Nintendo made a tutorial for the program with Ninjas.

All that effort I've been putting into that Megaman animation, and I find out there's a filesize limit because of all the detail I'm putting into it.
I'm gonna have to cut it way shorter than I planned to do it, maybe even shorter than that.
