Okay, noted. Do you know what a "hot water bottle" is and what it's used for? Thermophore bottle? "Bouillotte" in your parts?

Une gourde...
Gourde is the word we use in Quebec, while Bouillotte is the kind of word used by frenchies from France. You will never hear a native quebecois say bouillotte.
As for what a hot water bottle is, yea i do know what it is... A bottle that contains hot water... Still disgusting no matter the shape of the bottle...

Is this a case of cookie/biscuit but in French?

Anyway, according to Wikipedia a gourde is not the same as a bouilotte, feel free to correct the articles if you wish, and a Google search seems to confirm it:

Different things for different purposes, and apparently you had no idea one of them existed

Or are you still trying to make a joke?

My bad, i thought we were talking about the "hot water bottle" and you came with the "bouillotte" thing, i was like "we dont call that a 'bouillotte' here, but i mostly hear that word when chatting with frenchies from france".
So, what is "bouillotte" supposed to do here? Why did you come up with that word then?

A "hot water bottle" is a heater that uses hot water as the thermal mass. You fill it with hot water and then it heats you for a while. They are still in use because they are practical and don't require wires or batteries. It is not a beverage container, you don't drink the water from it. It's also not a thermos bottle, it's not insulated, because the whole point is to dissipate the heat.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_water_bottle

"A hot-water bottle is a bottle filled with hot water and sealed with a stopper, used to provide warmth, typically while in bed, but also for the application of heat to a specific part of the body."

And in French, it is called a bouillotte.

https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bouillotte

Or so I thought, and the wikipedia article saying that, and the Google search confirming that, and that's what "bouillotte" is doing here. I was trying to find a term you were more familiar with. But apparently "bouillotte" doesn't mean what the dictionary or wikipedia or Google say, it means something else? Oh well.

Damn, Gprime85 has gone truly mad. Now he thinks he's an artist. Particularly one able to create a masterpiece.
Oh shit, I didn't even realize it was him. Probably because the comic isn't spouting some idiotic shit take (this time).
Oh well, the point about paying artists still stands. Broken clock and all that.
But I did crop out the artist credits because fuck that guy.
