KDE is quickly becoming my favorite environment.
i switched back to cinnamon yesterday for the simplicity of it- KDE is fun to mess around in but the theming capabilities are so wacky that i spend more time theming than playing games. plus it's easy to mess up your desktop LOL
i wanna try DWM though, used I3 and window managers seem so perfect for me when it comes to just gaming

I've never tried Cinnamon actually. I attempted a few Mint installs a while back with no luck as it always returned I/O errors, and I've never bothered applying it to another distro. But I like KDE for the fact that it's highly customizable, while also being relatively easy to customize (once you understand it). You just gotta remember that there's differences when it comes to the Qt and GTK theming.

the distro i used (Nobara Linux) came with GNOME and i didnt like it because it sucked for theming- i switched to Cinnamon and it's significantly better all around, UI is friendly, retro looking and simple. It's honestly one of the best desktop environments i've gotten my hands on in my whole ass decade of using computers, even Windows XP doesn't compare. KDE is my #1 though :)

why do i feel the sudden urge to start singing pirate's scorn from the donkey kong country cartoon?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Are you being for real, cause that's hard to believe, DK is Nintendo and made in japan, Sea of thieves was from Microsoft, in America. I'm not calling you a liar, just didn't know.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ok yes they were both made by Rare, but DK was from Rare back then, Rare now is owned by MS. So makes since.
