Hacking Possible to capture screenshots?

Would it be possible to code something that captures screenshots? With the DSTWO having a screen overlay feature in-game I could see it happening.

I think it would have to be a part of the EOS and I don't think the EOS code is or will ever be available.
As a homebrew it would be useless, since it would just take pictures of the homebrew itself.
You could try and make a new EOS like menu and add this feature if you have the skills to program it.
