So using 4.0beta on a Chinese G6 Lite allows you to select an option to run English menus? If that's the case, then what's the big deal with getting a Chinese G6 Lite?

No big deal especially if you just want to play games.

People are just picky and stuff.

Well the problem is that the later firmwares, don't have both english text. And for the Chinese version, you can only upgrade to Chinese firmware, it won't accept English. G6 says it themselves on their website.
