I think I'll have to better my English or something, because I have trouble getting understood...

I understand you, I'll try to post it more clearly for other people to understand, as I have the same issue.

The problem is, we can spoof the eshop and access it from the homebrew menu, we can also use HANS with FW spoof perfectly fine.

The problem is, some games like Fire Emblem: Awakening, or Shin Megami Tensei IV, these games do not use the eshop for their DLC, rather, they have their very own game specific ingame eshop.

This ingame eshop is the only way to buy the DLCs for this game, but the problem is, even with HANS, we are being told to update our FW to the latest version, and as such we are unable to purchase DLC for these types of games.

Thank you...i'm going to send you online kisses to thank you for explaining the problem so clearly...!

With the eShop spoofer, can you download DLC from different regions than that of your 3DS's region?

EDIT: And not just DLC, I should say, can you access the eShop from other regions, to download exclusive stuff like demos, themes, DLC etc.

I don't know I have access to the European French one directly when I use the e-shop spoofer...

If you want the technical jargon, HANS only patches NIM, which is a service the eShop uses to decide if the system needs an update, while games use MINT, which is a different sort of eShop. If MINT can be patched too, then it should work. There's not much that we, the end-users of HANS and hax 2.5, can do for now.
