Gaming Possible DS Lite issues

Hey there,

I just bought a second hand DS Lite from CeX. It was working fine but the store clerk gave me a 3DS charger instead of a DS Lite charger. Using the last bit of battery I checked the GBA slot was working. I then set the console down for a minute to do something and my sister decided to take out the cart without turning the system off. I saw this and turned the system off and when I tried to power it on again, it would flash both screens with a white colour and turn off. Could the battery be completely flat or is the system broken?

Battery's dead. I'm pretty sure removing a cart with the console still on can't have effects as drastic as breaking the DS. Just replicated your exact situation twice then, and the worst I got was the game hanging and screeching at me, but that was fixed when I restarted the DS. Just buy a cheap USB charger on ebay and grab a phone adapter that won't fry it, and you should be good to go.
