I recently got prince of persia The forgotten sands by BentKSA? (or so it says in the download name)

    Patched the Main.dol
    Replaced with wiiscrubber
Installed a custom WAD so i can access it as a channel

It plays flawlessly apart a tiny lil problem
It doesnt have any VOICE at all
Since my Console is NTSC-J (the game checks the default language to get its correct voice acting) i always patch my games to force English through Wiiflow, but with the above method it wont work with wiiflow
i use the CIOS249 rev whatever is the latest rev (and i have a bunch more which dont do anything)

Now my request is wether is there a way to make the Channel Wad File so it forces english so i can get my voices back >_>
Its annoying as the prince and Navi say nothing when they talk but the Sound effects and music still plays.
Same problem was with Red steel 2 but i change its Language in wiiflow so it works

if anyone is able to get me a above said WAD i would appreciate it

EDIT: Game is NTSC-U just to be correct

    Try this Ocarina code:
    http://geckocodes.org/index.php?c=RPWZ41
(you may need to change the disc id to match the one of your game)

The Ocarina code should enable the possiblity of doing regular main.dol patches, including the one to force the language.

It should be possible to integrate that Ocarina cheat into the .wip file, but i don't know how to convert it.

Thanks for the reply but the link is not working, for me at least.

Could you give me the plain code? i can just insert it with Cheat manager.

And about the Wiiflow, do i have to inset the Patched Main.dol that i replaced in POP so it can have access from the menu?
I have noticed there is a place you can choose which Dol to use, as you would Choose Player.Dol for Red Steel/Wii sports resort.

Just tried that and this time it gives me a plain black screen as opposed to the black screen i was getting after the logo
Do i need to use a Unpatched Main.dol POP or the patched Main.dol POP?

You need this cheat, a patch to the main.dol to get rid of the cIOS detection and a language patch. I suggest trying it with NeoGamma 1st, i don't know if the other loaders may increase the number of issues. Lastest Configurable usb loader could also be considered.

So i tried Neogamma with the followings:

Mounted the WBFS drive from "load from USB"
Went to region options and chose english
Went to config and gave "yes" to the Ocarina
Tried to load my game by choosing the title and pressing A
And i got the "You are Stupid" Message >_>
    Other games load fine though

You are getting the You Are Stupid message because you must also enable a hook option, i believe this game requires ossleepthread hook, but dont quote me on that

Tried OSSsleepthread but i got the Green screen of death >_>
Is there any other option that i have to set in order for this to work?
I believe that if i get it to work on neogamma the language problems are solved

This already removed the anti piracy. The game should run fine from Coverflow.

I already can play the game by using the patch and istalling a channel via wad What i want is to force the language to english or otherwise i get no Voices.

CoverFlow didnt work either, firt gave me a Error 02, used the Error 02 patch and still gave me the same Screen it would give with Error 02 but without the error message.
btw this is the Patched main.dol that i have (which was found via forum browsing, maybe its not patched correctly?)

Do you have a PAL or NTSC version? The game will only work in the correct video mode, don't force it to yours!

Which cIOS are you using? I would say you need rev19 or rev17, some others might work as well, but these 2 should be the best options. And use the latest NeoGamma.

    Neogamma R8 With cIOS 249 Rev 19
I have the NTSC one and tried both NTSC 480i and 480p
Also tried both the PAL ones, This game just refuses to work
If someone has gotten it to work on Wiiflow, Neogamma, USB Loader or Whatever, Please give me the detailed Configurations for it

    Ok, start all over:
    Get the latest NeoGamma:
    http://gbatemp.net/t219243-neogamma-r9-beta-test

Use clean settings(no patches at all, no Ocarina)
Put the included .wip files to the NeoGamma folder on your sd card
    Enable looking for patches
When booting the game, look what it says about patches

If you can't get the game to work with this, you have some bigger problem. If this works, enable Ocarina, put the .gct file in your codes folder on sd card, enable language forcing, and check if it says "codes applied".

I guess the patched main.dol is the problem, that alone didnt let me pass the logo screen.
It should work fine now with the WIP that neogamma had.
I still havent tried since i need to redownload a fresh copy

Ok, i read that the Ocarina code only works if you are using an usb gecko. Sorry, i don't think you can play in english unless you get your system menu language to english.

PS: Seems the code got updated:
    Hookable sm98
    A8000000 00000100
    044CDECC 4800005C

Maybe that one works, but don't get your hopes too high

And the only way to do that on a japanese Wii is to change region, right!? Is that worth doing or is it risky and complicated?
