[POLL] is PS Vita Dead?

Honestly, it would be way more alive if Sony didn't go full retard with their dumb Vita cards. It's kinda ironic how those cards were supposed to help protect the console from piracy, but ended up vastly contributing to the death of the console.

If they had used SD cards instead of Vita cards, and had Sony supported it like Nintendo did with the 3DS, the console would have been a way better competitor to the 3DS.

Mobile didn't kill it, Sony did sadly.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. extra credits' analysis is two years old at this time. Since then, all the news I really heard about was that sony stopped developing games for it. And IIRC, the thing isn't even available for purchase in Belgium anymore. Oh, and development of games on smartphones hasn't halted either.

I don't want to bash the hacking community, but their activity isn't a sign whether the vita is alive or not in the slightest. That's like saying a corpse isn't dead because it has maggots living inside. (I don't want to compare hackers with maggots, but I have no other way to illustrate how they're not keeping a system "alive").

I believe it only isnt dead in Japan, I mean they got sweet games for it, and they wont even release 'em so~
